I want to start a new thread about nothing, and let it run...

Why we can't leave on our Yuma trip.
Although the RV is lifted and has 4WD, a low transfer case, chains, and socks, we have a short but 16% grade hill outside our gate. We will trample the snow with other vehicles before attempting to make it down the 100-yard-long hill.
My Arizona is not the universally thought-of Arizona.

We are in Winkleman AZ.
We're doing the trip backwards and will be in Yuma last.
Batteries are working well.
The rv propane Heater using lithiums used 6% of batteries where the two wet cells would be gone before morning.
I'll add two more 200a lithiums under the passenger seats wasted space.

To the above post:
Temu has those newish one-hand 8" chainsaws...🫠

We're are at the spousal unit's sibling unit's place.
She's 75 and has never had a mailbox and always had a po box.

Last week they started street delivery in her rural area.
It took actual crayons and a pop-up diorama to explain to her how the flag on the mailbox worked and when to use it.

Junk store in Tucson.
I just bought the pictured square(ish) fireplace, in avocado green, for $45.
The guy thought he slayed me.

Bought these in a harbor freight for $13 each.

I traded a $20 item for this black fireplace.
So far so good.
Headed to Yuma now.
Park Links road to the 10 to the 8.

I believe you can edit/delete a post for up to an hour on this new software. Otherwise just PM me with the details or "Report" it.
It seems like the edit goes 24 hours? Maybe the delete is only 1 hour. I will find out if I can edit this post tomorrow night to say how long. I noticed because another platform was really quick compared to this platform. But now the other seems like you can change a full day later.

It has been 7 hours and I am able to Edit. I don't see a delete so I assume you have 1 hour to Delete? I will try again after work to see how long the edit last. I like the extra time, because I am typo King, I may not see until later to make some correction.

Usually for me, I only time I recall needing to Delete is when I post something that may have been at the same time as someone else, but their timestamp beat mine by a few minutes and it looks like I may be repeating what may have already been said.

It is lunch for me and I still able to edit this post 1:27PM CDT right now. I believe I have gone 24 hours to edit, I will know for sure just before midnight to night

I am now editing at 5:30 PMCDT so that means edit is at least 16 hours

10:35 CDT so with 22 1/2 hours having passed and I am still editing. I think at 24 hours the edit feature with drop off.

My test

My test results say:

NO Delete immediately.

Can edit 58 minutes later.

Can edit over an hour later but maybe due to time of last edit? Will wait for over an hour from this edit.

Can still edit at 1:02 EDT so I'm guessing 24 hour edit capability.

Vintage googie sign.
Now mine.
$100. They wanted $20...I paid more to one of those welding schools that train girls and incorrigibles.

It Will say
BEHEMOTH across it
and have a sequential arrow pointing to the barn.

You can't
Ah man... I just confirmed I can't.... :comp03:

Now I got to spend my weekend trying to hack the servers so if I type a post that I don't want I can delete myself.

Actually it does appear to allow you to edit the post and remove all of the text and re-save so it shows nothing but the original replay. I guess that qualifies for a half arse delete :ROFLMAO:

He Wanted$75, I gave him $100.
It's been at a shop for 30 years and no one saw it sitting just inside the gate.

Don't let AZ patina be confused with rust. Az puts a .01 micron protective layer then stops.
With a 2 hour vinegar dip mine will look just like the ebay one(but without the inscription.)

It's up for trade.

I just gave away my matched set of 1944 dated
MARINE CORPS fuel cans.
Marine cans are different from other cans in that they have a different spout and are zinc chromate painted.
These were given to me to use as wall sconces in te behemoth but I just don't have the heart to cut them up.

Almost all cans say usmc on them but that stands for
United States Metal Can(company).

While they are five(ish)gallons, the 20L on the cans do not mean liters, it means guage of metal as required by a maritime law regarding containers.

A friend in Iowa mentioned he just bought a barn find m38 that has been crated since it came back from war.
I tell everyone not to look at anything in the behemoth twice because it will go home with you.
His call was on Sunday and his daughter happens to be driving through our town today.

He's the man who curated my tbird back in the 70's.
He's possibly buying it back. He had to sell it to save his farm and it's haunted him since.
I'll take a loss to him instead of a profit at an auction.

Friend has a M38 still set up on 24v. Reminds me of our early JD Diesels which some were 24 volt starter but used two 12v batteries and a 12v generator. Messed up quite a few folks that that they knew the old systems.
Neat cans, nice to be going to a show type setting intact.
