I've had the 18v since they first came out and have had great luck.
I have all the original tools purchased in 1999+- and just about 3verything else.
Last week I bought two hand drill for a dollar each and often find the Sawzall at 5 bucks.
In the rv I carry their:
Flashlight
Drill
12v charger(I won't need it now that I have an inverter)
120v charger
3gallon wet dry vac
And their very nice tire inflator that you lock the chuck to the valve stem, set your required pressure on the inflator... And walk away. It turns itself off at your preset choice of pressure.


I do not baby the tools and I've only burned out two. An 18v chain saw that lasted about 20 minutes, but the two chainsaws I have now are doing fine, and I think the other was a brand new Sawzall a friend borrowed and smoked out.
Hundreds of hours maybe a thousand, no problems.

My all time favorite is the ryobi devour.

It will, no exaggeration, pick up a foot long 2x4 board, a dust bunny( called a ghost turd by some of you) and a dime and a finishing nail all at the same time(see YouTube vids). It's magic I tellsya!

I set up the gate today for myQ and Google and Alexa.
Pretty easy.
Now I can control the gate three ways without a button and open or close or check its status from anywhere in the world.

I have myQ openers on the garage door so that was just a myQ module to adapt my ancient Mighty Mule based gate, and the alexa/Google was a 12 buck controller and less than five minutes of setup.
Controller also works with almost any garage door opener ever made.

About a minute before I come to them.
Gate is standing open for me with no wait and the garage door is open.

I was VERY interested in what he had that I could adopt. The door was in close mode before I finally figured it out.
I tried the way in the video.
The screeching after that first activation kinda cured me from trying it a second time.

Installed these today(mostly)
They came with 4 Guage cables. In the middle of sizing and crimping I rembered I had pre-built pro crimped 1/0 cables I kept from the golf carts I gave away(this is why I have 12 six volt batteries available for upgrade to the Thor). I am now undoing what little I had done on this remote terminal.

I have had to jump the 24.1 in the past.
It was easy to hook jumper cables up to the house battery(they were dead also, lucky me), hit the emergency start button, and start the v10.
But these on the chassis battery, and mounted under the hood, will make me feel better(and now I can jump others without dicking with the house batteries.

Also, I looked where the chassis battery goes. I think there's room for two of them in there.
I won't do it, I'd put one in front of the radiator first....

Another favorite tool.
I just plopped it on my mod table and whacked these new supports for the battery access/under desk door on axis/Vegas dash. Then put it back on the shelf.
I made a ryobi battery adapter for this, but it didn't work the first time and I didn't try it again.

Countersunk all the holes. Drilled them part way with a bigger bit because I was too lazy to look twice for the countersink tool, then pounded the holes into shape with a sacrificial bolt of the right size. Bolts and nylon insert locking nuts are used, not screws.
Sits flat.
I stopped short of routing the wood for the thin metal.
Gotta stop somewhere....

We put a folding shelf on the shower side of the bathroom sink.
While we were down there we changed out the wood siding on the sink pedastal for plastic on the shower side(that's why it's white under the folding part)

We used toggle bolts to go all the way through to the inside of the cabinet so the folding table is never going to be sagging due to loose screws. We also added about four more crossmembers while we had the side off, just because we could.
The plastic is the lens from a trougher 2x4 fluorescent light fixture.

The folding table from the kitchen is an Exact fit and perfect color and temperament match to use as the bathroom folder, but the spousal unit wanted something entirely water proof, so our table is a walmart cutting board that was was cut to length. It has a groove around the edge to catch Rolling things.

It's all sealed and water proof now on the shower side.

The top picture needs rotated clockwise.
