At one point I was thinking about trading my 5th wheel for a newer, different floor plan one. Then after looking at what was out there and going to a few RV shows, and reading of so many problems people were having with the newer ones I decided I should keep my 2017 Redwood. It has been a great 5th with no problems. It already has most of the options I like. A lot of the 5th wheels I was looking didn't have these options, so I would have to get them installed. So, I have decided to update my Redwood. Here are my updates: (some done, some in progress)
1. Removed the carpet from the bedroom and replaced it with plank flooring.
2. Replaced all the faucets (kitchen and bathroom) with nicer ones.
3. Replaced all my awnings (previous owner didn't take care of them).
4. Replaced my theater chairs.
5. Replaced the main components of my Lippert air ride suspension due to a leak.
6. Added back splash to the half bath and master bathroom.
7. Sand and re-stained wooden steps.
I enjoy doing projects like these, and it just makes the camper look so much better. The only other project I was going to do was install a dishwasher, but my wife said we already had one....me
. She said she would rather have the storage than the dishwasher, so maybe later will add it.
