Glad to find this, looks like a nice place to hang out at:).
Just purchased a very nice 2012 36 RL with all the goodies, sat, washer/dryer, disk brakes, independent susp & slide toppers.
Cant wait to get into a quality coach.
Doing the overnight thing at the dealer before we pay them (they will be more willing to take care of any problems we can find) which they are ok with.
Then home to load up and then off to Georgia.

Congrats on the new to you rig. May it give you as much fun and enjoyment as ours has. Having the IS and discs is a huge plus. There aren't that many with the IS.

You'll find this is a great group. Opinionated at times, but very seldom will you pose a question that someone here hasn't run into and can give you a knowledgeable answer.

Congratulations on your Redwood and welcome to the forum, lots of great information here.

Congratulations on your new to you Reswood... I am sure you will live it , and you came to the right spot for answers...there are a great group of folks here ;)

Rod, just curious where you picked up that 36RL, sure sounds like it could be ours that we traded in on our MB.

Welcome and Congratulations on your new to you RW. Lot's of info here and it sure is a great place to hang out!!

Nope, not ours as we had the Goodyear G114 17.5 tires, but it's equiped almost identical to ours.
You will love the IS and Disc Brakes. We took ours all the way to Alaska and back and not even a broken dish or plate.
One word of caution, RLs are Pin heavy and can run around 4K easy, so make sure your TV can carry the weight.

02 Duramax DRW 4 in exhaust, Banks air box, waste gate kit, Fuel lift pump, BDE EFI tune, Airsafe 25K hitch, Air Lift/Pump.
It will handle it!

Hooray! This is exciting news! On behalf of Redwood, welcome to the family!

Should you ever need any help from the factory, just shoot me a message. Hope to see you at one of our regional rallies and/or the National Rally in Shipshewanna this next year!

We traded our 2014 Crusader for a very nice 2012 36RL, went down to Elkhart IN. Monday to do the walkthrough and paperwork. Everything went well except one of the a.c. units had a bad grumble. Spent the night at the dealership and tried everything in the coach we could. Tuesday A.M. they replaced the motor in the a.c. unit. All is well, hooked up and headed out the drive then found the brakes didn't work. Long story short one caliper was hanging on the axle, the mount was tore completely off. A trip across the road to get it repaired, they could only cap the line and get the other three brakes working, then down to MORryde. We arrived there mid-afternoon Wednesday. They looked at it and said they could fix it tomorrow A.M. Thursday 1 P.M. on the road heading home with a new caliper, new axle and alignment.
The only thing we had to buy was a new brake controller.
I was really impressed with Tiara RV for making sure things were right and with the service department at MORryde.
Cant wait to get it loaded and on the road. DSC01675.JPG
