I can't believe my husband keeps finding more problems with our Thor. This time it is with the Jenson radio replacement we just had installed in March. He was trying to re-route some wires that the installers left loose and discovered the radio unit was hot to the touch. It was definitely off. Why would it be hot? Is it a fire hazard? It does have a lot of add ones like GPS and cameras. He also turned off the storage switch but the radio is still warm.
Any ideas? We'd appreciate some help.

Thank you

No it shouldn't be hot: hot with electronics usually means lots of current, or loose connection. Both of which could make it hot.

He could find the wire that provides always on power and move it to the switched power lead (this way the radio would be completely powered off when in "store" mode).

We had a situation where the dashboard was hot, especially around the radio. We took the motorhome back to camping world for warrantee work and had them check out this problem. Turns out that one of the heater/ac ducts was not connected to the vent and just loose inside the dash. When the heat was turned on, this duct just blew hot air inside the dash area. I hope your problem is this simple..

My Thor chateau has an outlet in the dash that is not working period when I got it there were wires hanging down into the cup holders period so much for the Post delivery inspection period it's going to back to the shop to fix that. It's probably a fuse. The biggest problem is the heating blanket keeps falling off of the black tank and I've duct taped it 3 times. That hopefully will get replaced period and stay stuck where it should be. I don't know what kind of adhesive they use but it sure didn't stick to a black plastic black water tank.
