I have a 38BR with the keyless entry option (no key or key fob needed). I have followed the directions to the 'inth degree and still can not get it to set. Does anyone have a solution other than calling Redwood? I love my Redwood.

Try contacting RV Lock the Mfr'er of the system, they would probably be more help than Redwood. They seem pretty responsive to questions and problems.

Call the lock manufacturer. They walked me through a reset. We had trouble with one of our keypads, they sent a replacement pad and door lock assembly. I installed them and reset the system. I also had a battery problem with the keypad this week.I removed the battery, cleaned the terminals, replaced the battery and have had no issues since.

I replaced mine once and got it working with the help of the lock company. Now it only works with the key fobs and I need to replace the pad again.

We replaced ours and they worked great for 3 to 4 weeks, then the pad stopped working but the key fobs continued to work. I removed the battery, cleaned the terminals, purchased a new battery and installed it, pad and fobs are all working fine.

COLJDM, I had trouble with the key pad this week. It stopped working altogether on the maine entrance door. When this happens it makes it hard to use the dead bolt to lock and unlock the door. You almost twist off the key trying to lock it from the outside. After reading your post about the batteries I check out mine. When I opened the bottom where the battery pulls down from there was some of water in there. Im wondering if this water getting in there is causing the battery to short or causing it to die prematurely. I did see o rings on the little screws and around the battery holder but water is still getting in there. When I installed the new battery it still didn't work but if I held up on the battery holder alittle it would work. So I reached up in there and bent the little contact tab down a little and reinstalled the battery and all is working good for now. I wonder if you could use Dielectric grease in there. Then I dont think the water would have a effect on the battery and it might help keep some of the water out. I took apart the back door that was still working and it to had water in there. What are your thoughts?

I used electrical terminal cleaner and a Q tip to clean the interior of the battery compartment. I also ensured the battery holder was pushed all the way in and tight, and the screws were tight. I took clear silicone and caulked around the mounted fixture. If you look up rvlock.com you will find information on installation, resetting the pass keys and contact phone numbers. The RV Lock folks are very accommodating and helpful, give them a call and discuss the water issue as well as any other issue with their product, they were extremely supportive towards me and even provided replacement parts within a few days.

I could not get ours to work properly. then I realized, we had RVlock on the unit and instuction for pop lock. go figure. Contacted RVlock. they were great. they faxed me the info sheet and senttwo FOB's at no charge.

Hi John. Does your fob have "southco" on the back? Can you program all fobs to the same. Got 2. For each door.

We have 2 fobs and they are we programmed them to lock/open both doors at the same time. The instructions are located on the rvlock.com website.
