Has anyone changed out the OEM entry door lock set for one of those that has a combination and fob remote on a Delano? I keep reading conflicting reports about them.
I have, but didn't find anything specific to the Delano.
I'm not sure what the Hurricane is like, but I just installed on a 2022 Omni, and it was a stupid easy install. I think I must have gotten one of the first of the new style, because I received the instructions for the older style. I installed it with no problems with no instructions and later realized that they had emailed me to correct instructions. I read them just to confirm I did it correctly. The only issue I had was is it's just a tiny bit smaller than the stock one and I have a small white ring around it (base white paint) because of the silver paint on mine must have been done with the stock handle installed. I thought I took a picture but I guess I didn't. Maybe I'll get one on the weekend. It's a very small white area, like a 1/8" and it's symmetrical. I was going to touch it up but the wife said that I was being way too critical and that it's a non-issue. I love how it works and my kids find it much easier to open the door now compared to the old one. It's also way easier to unlock from the inside. I also got the remote screen handle deal, that works great too. I just with they had the compartment locks for my style. I keep checking, but still not yet.Does anyone know if the new 2nd Gen Atlas by RVLock works on the Hurricane 34J? See above.
