Well here we go again. Final decision is now a 333MKS. It has all the
bells and whistles my wife wants, I can find used units and the loaded
weight is just under 14K.

Lots of people say yes you can tow with a 3/4 ton truck, but I plan on
a one ton truck.

Again comments and opinions welcome.

Yes you'll be better of with a 1-ton. What is the tongue weight? That is usually what determines how big of a truck you use (the tongue weight adds to the payload of the pickup and 3/4 ton trucks usually don't have the payload capacity to haul around a decent sized 5er).

Edit: Hitch weight is 1980 lbs (from the Keystone site). Wow looking at modern pickups (Ford) even the 250's can more than handle 1980 lbs hitch weight.

I'd still be more comfortable with a heavier truck under the rig.

JamieGeek, the paperwork I have says Hitch Weight is 1690 so a little
variance from what you found. but then the factory catalogue I just
looked at shows 1980 lbs. 10315 lbs shipping weight and 2065 carring
capacity for a total of 14360 before you add propane and water.

Yes I know I can find a Dodge Ram 2500 with 17500 tow rate, but I
would feel better with the stouter 3500. But both would be SRW.
But since I will be buying second hand on both units we will just see
what I find for sale.

Power issues

So our Keystone Cougar 333mks 5th wheel has been shutting off and on when we run both air units or one and the microwave around 1:00pm to 6:00pm. In the Am it seems fine and at night.

Recent Temps here in SoCal have gone up to triple digits and the problems started then.

It seems like our ELECTRICAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM could be failing? We are on full shore power.

This is new to us.
