Hi All,
I just discovered a leaking leveling jack on my 2017 Chateau 35SF. It is leaking at the bottom of the jack body where the ram comes out. I've done some research on this forum, but can't find my answer. I've come to the conclusion that I am probably going to have to replace the jack. I've seen several models on web searches from $500 - $1200. I have looked for a part/model number on the jacks, but can't find one. Weight capacity is unknown. The only thing I can give you is the mounting flanges have 13 holes, there are only 2 hydraulic lines attached and the body of the jack (not including the foot) is about 20". It doesn't appear that there may be a rebuild kit for this, and Lippert's web site is useless. I've looked to Thor's website for info with no luck (didn't call yet), and anything I can find in my manuals etc. Any help or direction to go for further help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Call a local place that sells tractors.
They'll tell you who can repair the cylinder.

This is not a call thor thing.

A quick search revealed several Lippert Level Up Jack rebuild videos. I found this one to be most useful, and it should answer your questions:

In short, yes they can be rebuilt, and rather easily. Any hydraulic repair place, and most truck mechanics can order the parts and install them. Then you can put it back together and re-install it. I'm sure your local RV dealer could also do it, at 3 times the cost and take 4 times as long.

13 hole mount is 8000 lb capacity. 32000 coach gvwr.

If you're sure it is leaking from the ram seal, just replace the Oring and wiper for a few bucks and a couple hours labor

If you're not up to it, then as Duck suggested take it to a hydraulic shop and have them do it. If you have the rod type cylinder, then check the torque on the nuts.

We rebuilt ours in the shop

I had a couple leaks when the Tuscany was new at the hose connection. Check them using a tubing wrench, they need to be very tight
