Locating inverter. Challenger 2012

I think you mean converter, not inverter, don't you?

The converter on our rig is located right in the same area as the breaker panel.
If I remember right, it's either right behind, or just below it.
I don't know that yours is there, but it would seem that if they used any common sense, when they built that rig, they would put it pretty close to the breaker panel.

If everything else seems to be working in your rig, I find it hard to believe that the problem is the converter.

Another way to find the converter would be to go into your rig when it is really quiet and start turning on lights and listen for the cooling fan on the converter to start getting louder as it starts to warm up pointing you in the right direction. As Lloyd said, ours is right behind the breaker box where all the power comes in.

Inverters are standard on some Challengers models and an options on others, so I believe he is referring to the "inverter" location. However, I don't have a Challenger model so I don't knows where it is. But I DO have an inverter in my Four Winds.

You are right. I did a little searching and found out he does in fact have an inverter.
Wish I did.
