Where in the Yukon?? That is our first trip! We'll be heading up there 1st-2nd week June.
Any must see areas? I can see by your photo I need to bring a couple extra wash buckets :)
Figured there'd be more snow now.

Not quite Yukon yet. We are in Toad River BC. Lots to see in June but everything is closed now. We start a contract in Fairbanks next week. Get a copy of 'mile post'

Be careful of campgrounds when they say they are big rig friendly. We been put in some tights spots this trip and have the scratches and dents to prove it. Walk them out before parking. One spot looked big enough but i wish i had walked it, when i pulled through my RV sunk to the axles. Owner said she knew it was soft. Said she sank in the mud walking across it but thought a RV wouldn't have a problem. She sank 150lbs and thought 26000lbs would be OK. Right .
Check with your phone carrier before Canada. Verizon told me that calls would be .85/ min. What i didn't know scared me. I ran up $50 in roaming charges just having my phone on. It stays shut off now.
Crossing the border was a breeze. Just be informed on what paperwork you need and be honest and only answer the questions you are asked.
The roads are fine with one exception. The frost heaves are killer. You can't see them and if you hit them at full speed your trailer with catch some air. Not fun. Majority of them are marked but the markings are a small sign in a little pails and hard to see. If you see one, slow down. If you have airbags, I'd love to hear how your truck does with the heaves.
Try to get yourself a device or app that shows your speed in km/h. I find it helpful. When you come to a 50 km/h curve, you won't have to do any math and my Ford stock speedometer is worthless for km.
So far we've seen sheep and coyote but are hoping for bear, moose and caribou. Hopefully not in the ,middle of the road. Lol

Be safe and don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have

I don't know. Been around alot of bends and still haven't seen one. Washed the doors and steps off last night. Just got thru putting water in my fresh tank with a bucket and funnel i filled from a wash room.
Would not recommend this time of year to travel to Alaska
Got passed at a RV park because they wouldn't let me park because their park was under snow. I looked before i pulled out, maybe a foot of snow and there was a tractor with a blade sitting by the door all plugged in and ready to go. When they say they don't alone til may 1st they mean it

I hope you realize my last coment was a joke. :)

Sorry to hear about your campground wounds. That must have hurt! Thanks for the info on Mile Post, and the roads. Hoping you get to see some good wildlife. We went across 5 provinces a few years ago and only saw 1 moose with her calf.

My uncle did that trip quite a few years back. To this day he still finds Alaskan critters in every nook and cranny on that truck.

We went up in 08 but not till mid June. At least one campground and several gas stops had free do it yourself wash bays. A year later there was still mud underneath from the Dalton Hwy.
