Hi, wanted to introduce myself my name is Don Ritter and we live NW of Fort Worth, Tx in a small town named Haslet.

Currently we own a competitive product but are beginning to look at replacing it. We have had a very poor experience with the dealer who sold us our 5th wheel and are seriously considering taking the loss and trading but, at the same time have to be sensible.

We stay in the trailer about 75-100 days a year, we use it for business and personal. My business and hobby keep me on the road a good bit and I hate staying in hotels anymore plus we have several Labradors we like to have around us.

Anyway just here to learn a bit

Thanks

Welcome to the forum! We lived in Haslet (on Berry Dr.) before going fulltime 7 1/2 years ago. As far as the RW in my opinion you couldn't find a better rv at the price. We've fulltimed in ours for the last 3 years with only minor issues most of which you will have regardless of brand or price, but RW were absolutely fantastic to deal with when we were still under warranty & that's their strong point over other brands. If we were to trade tomorrow it would most likely be for another RW, but finally got this all fixed up the way we like so don't plan on trading anytime soon. As with any rv your dealer can be an asset or a huge PITA which sounds like you are well aware of, so I'd suggest buy the RW & shop for a dealer that will work with you, unfortunately the only ones in your area that sells RWs don't have very good reviews from anyone, good price service sucks!
Welcome again to another Texan & good luck with whatever you decide on.

Hi Don!

Welcome to the forum! I'm here on behalf of the factory, so if there's any questions I can answer for you, please let me know :)

Our owners are some of the most knowledgeable and experienced around, so feel free to ask anything you are curious about!

Thanks for joining us,

Christian

Welcome to the forum Don. I think the RW would make a great travel home for you and wife. I would suggest you seriously think of ordering one custom to your needs that way you can get one with correct suspension additions that make it more enjoyable to tow. you can search the site for info on tires, brakes and suspension parts that most of us have added to our rigs. The dealer is also important only use one that will support its customers.

Hi neighbor (well sorta - DFW area)
glad to discuss - did you get yours from a place with EUSA as the initials ? :)

Welcome to the Forum. Hope you find the right Redwood for you. They seem to talk to you. If they don't, then it might not be the right model for you. You will know when you find the right deal on the right one.

Chris
