I think the market for RV's has finally reached the saturation point. It lasted longer than I thought it would. Maybe now they can/should be able to concentrate a little more on quality control.

Once manufacturers find they can sell garbage for the price of gold, then there will never be quality again.
They will cut staff, close departments. Before they will ever reduce that profit margin.

The company I work for always preached that they had never laid anyone off. COVID fixed that. For the last 2 years, we have been running short staffed. The leader just basically announce that we have had the most profitable 2 years in the company's 50 year history. They never brought anyone back!

I would be amazed if anything changes.

Agreed about manufacturers never going back to previous quality levels. Overall we are seeing a 'Robber Baron' mentality in big business which will not improve on its own. The only way to get their attention is to not buy their product. Since there will always be folks who just buy whatever is available, it will get a lot worse before it gets better.

People are also pulling back on the discretionary spending and have been. Inflation is hurting normal folks really bad. If your extra money is going on fuel and food, there is not much left over for recreational spending.

That bank failure is a major warning sign.
