low point fresh water valve

New to the forum and new RV owner I purchased a really clean 2019 Thor Chateau 24DS a few months ago. Most of the literature is not specific to our coach when I started searching for the fresh water dump valve. Finally called Thor and they gave me several location possibilities. I found that with no problem but I still have not located the 'Fresh water low point drain'. Anyone know where that rascal is located? Thanks for your help

You have a FW TANK drain which is normally near or next to the FW tank, and
You have a low point drain for the hot water and a low point drain for the cold water. These two are normally near each other.

So what are you looking for again?

Thanks for the quick reply. As I said I found the FW tank drain but someone told me that there was a FW low point drain. I located the water shutoff's for the Tankless heater. Am I possibly looking for something that doesn't exist? Since I live near Phoenix I don't have to worry about draining everything. I have a 2019 Thor Chateau 24DS, Diesel. I've noticed really quickly that every model has a different location for things. HA

Here is what the FW drain looks like.

That MAY BE what the low point drain looks like in some coaches.
Some use the outdoor shower as the low point drains.
Some have poppet style pull valves with a stainless ring for the low point drains.

Some have actual 90 degree ball valves like shown in Beau's attachment photo.

Look under the coach. I mean really crawl under and look for PEX pipe sticking out. The valves will be just above the PEX pipes sticking down. Also, do not assume once you have found the first ones that you have found them all. My coach has two sets of hot / cold drains besides the FW drain. Opening both the Low point drains, the inside water taps, and the FW drain should completely drain the water system. Even though the system is "completely drained" Some residual water might still be present. To purge that water you will either need to pump the pink stuff into the system or use low pressure air, about 20psi, to clear the system. Also, you will need to put a little pink stuff down the drain and into the toilet.

When you are underneath the coach, look for the red and blue pex lines sticking out under the coach. They will each have a valve to open to drain the water(hot=red pex lines and cold=blue pex lines).

Hey Chateau Nomad, where are your low point drains? I have the same unit you do and all I know about is the freshwater tank drain on the outside by the entry door. Being in western Arizona , I don’t have to worry about draining the system but I am curious.

My low point drains are under the kitchen area... remove the lower drawer under the oven... they're recessed somewhat into the floor. You'll see the blue & red PEX tubing... they're under the tubing so you have to explore with a flashlight.

Mine started leaking, probably from debris stuck in the valve. They looked like a PIA to replace, so I installed PVC quarter turn valves on the end of the PEX tubing outside where they exit under the motorhome.

My FW tank is under the kitchen sink. The T handle is right beside the tank. The drain itself is directly below the tank... which is just aft of the entry door.

Not the same unit, but it does have the bathroom in the rear corner. My low-point drains terminate along the back wall right under the shower area.

Low point drains

The low point drains on my 22GOc are behind the rear bumper under the coach, on the driver side. Mine are not blue/red. When draining the system, be sure the hot water tank is cool. Also, open the pressure relief valve so the tank will empty more easily, faster, and completely.

The low point drains on my Four Winds 22E are under the rear dining table seat. They have chrome angle valves (similar to those on a toilet at home). My Thor drawings show the low point drains under the shower but that definitely is not the case.
