I saw a Thor youtube video on proper lowering and raising of the drop-down overhead bunk. In the video they mention that the current Thor coaches come with a Comfort Cloud mattress replacing the previous air mattress. I'd love to get rid of my air mattress. Does anyone know where to buy this Comfort Cloud mattress or know of any good replacement for the air mattress which will still allow the bunk to raise all the way?

Air mattress? Our drop down is a thin fiber filled sleeping pad. We put 1” memory foam under the mattress. It still goes all the way up.

Air mattress is NOT OEM. Even the ACE fold-up overhead bunks had a foam mattress.

I think very early 2014ish ones had an air mattress for the jaxcknife type couch.
Just something I read.

An oem mattress isn't needed.
Buy what you like that fits or have one made.

Yep. my 2016 Hurricane had a queen size air mattress in the foldout crouch where the reclining loveseat sits.

And later, my 2016 was supposed to use an air mattress on the "couch" bed. Replaced with dual reclining loveseat.

For others;
If you remove the mattress entirely that space makes for a really really great
Lateral Closet.

We put our mattress back up there because we don't need the extra closet space but boy does that space hold a LOT of stuff.

Just a consideration.
Lots of people don't have their head clogged with the stuff mine is clogged with, but if your rv is clogged with stuff, the bunk closet is an answer.

Are we talking toilets now?

If needed we can talk of rv toilets
We use ours.
I'm told some here don't use theirs.
(Brains nor toilets)

I'll never understand either group.
Then we have the love of Venn diagrams where some get to be both.
