My toad just crossed into wonderment territory.
Not sure whether I should throw a party or call the undertaker!

In actuality, it drives quite well, and I have no qualms relying on it! (so far)

That is impressive, but does the mpg indicator include towing miles? If so those miles have no effect on the engine.

But back to the miles- Does the engine smoke or burn any oil? How is the oil pressure? I I would have thought at those miles the pistons, rings and bearings would be shot.

Can you summarize any major maintenance you have had to do to keep her running?

Enough said, no one knows better than you. Seems to me it has earned the right to go out on it's own failure as long as you are happy with it. I have a 200k old Navigator that I just keep convincing myself to keep. But I do start to have qualms with it, so I may finally get around to selling and buying something else as backup to the new Navigator. It is 2008 so having qualms is ok. I am not exactly an antiquity person.

Towing miles NOT included.

It's my son's car that I paid for the towing equipment. Bought last year with 295k miles. He's a marine & auto mechanic, and has gone over it thoroughly. Have replaced a few sensors and a few wires that corroded. Regular oil changes, and no smoke or oil loss!

We are on out third CR-V. They are bullet proof but unfortunately the manufacturer decided to end the ability to four down tow. We had to switch to a Kia for our toad so the wife could get a new CR-V hybrid.

I love it!

We tow a 2009 Civic Coupe with manual tranny, with just over 300,000. No problem.

May go forever!

Nice! We tow or Civic with a 2018 24.1. great rig.

2006 CRV is a bulletproof car. As a Toad, you may never need to replace it.

A friend of mine hit 300,000 on her 2007 CRV on Halloween. Those cars are like the Energizer Bunny, they keep on going!

240,000 on our 2010 CRV and still going strong. All we've done is replace two A/Cs. Love that car.

Think about this... Honda is now a domestic car, yet the Chevrolet Trax is a Korean import. It's backwards world I tell ya!!

I recently donated to a charity our 2000 Honda CRV that had almost 300k on it. We bought the CRV new while we were in the army. We shipped it overseas when we were assigned to Belgium. She took us to 8 countries and 23 states. I miss that old reliable ride!
