So I have had a host of issues with my 2021 Thor Miramar 35.2. A ton of little issues that have been blown up out of proportion by Camping World. Love the RV but it has been a nightmare, and Camping World is the Devil.
Anyhoo, the very last issue I had to get resolved before my 1 year warrantee ran out was the auto leveling jacks loosing pressure and collapsing after about an hour, the Passenger slide mechanism broken, and the retractable stair broken. This took 4 months to resolve at Camping World (dropped off July 6th, picked up October 21st). So when I go to pick my RV up for the final time, after denying delivery 2 other times (adding another 2 weeks to the work) I realize that my gas tank is over half empty, which was full when I dropped it off. So I'm wondering what happened to 40 gallons of gas. I look at the trip and there is no additional mileage on it, but the engine hours are at 60 hours for this tank of gas. Are you kidding me. These idiots let my RV run idle for 60 hours. Now on my particular RV you need to have the engine running to operate the Hydraulic Leveling Jacks, and the slides, but come on..!!
So anyway I go home fuming, and vow to never go back to Camping World, and warn anyone I know away from them. However, the newest problem I have now is that the running lights (5 LED lights) above the windshield and the 2 markers over the rear wheels, will not turn off. When the coach is turned off they dim to about 10% of their original brightness, but will never turn off. I'm not sure what to do about this, I have checked all the fuses, I have disconnected the headlight switch, disconnected the house battery, even disconnected some relay under the radio that my buddy said was related. Nothing works, the light will never turn off. My buddy suggested that I have a wire grounded somewhere and that may be causing the problem. If you couldn't tell I know nothing about wiring and electrical systems.
So my plea is if anyone has an idea or a suggestion of where to look to get this resolved. It's not a huge deal cause it takes well over a month for the lights to kill the battery, but it is an issue I need to get resolved.
I will not go back to Camping World ever again (not that they would fix it). It's a coach issue and they will not address it. My closest Ford dealer that would look at it is over 2 hours away. So that's not really an option.
So there is my rant. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Mike
