Moderators

I believe Crossroads is the moderator. They provide and maintain the forum and they moderate the posts on it. I have to say they have done a great job of allowing both the good AND bad about CR products to be discussed here.

In the time I have been here (almost 2 yrs I think) the forum has seemed to be very friendly and open to frank and honest discussions (as well as a little fun!).

Other than the name Crossroadsrv I have never seen any moderators like on other sites. I was just wondering if anyone else was.

George, now I'm worried.  This site has been moderated just fine so far.  What exactly is it you intend to do or to try?

The forum is moderated by the CrossRoads sales and web team. We keep it clean from Spammers (that's why we do the Admin approval system, not an automatic signup) and keep an eye on anything else not appropriate for a family friendly forum. Really, everyone is very well behaved

CrossRoads values ALL feedback on its products, so all posting here is truly valued - its helps the company improve with innovation.

Keep your posts coming!

I for one don't have very many complaints on our CR 5er.
I feel we got a lot of bang for our buck with CR.

Now I don't want to get the wrong person mad at me!

As far as I know only one preson was ever removed. We had to ask for that to happen as well. If you mess up someone will try to let you know.

Well now that you mention it......the boy tinkling on the blue oval is offensive to half of us

That brings up an interesting point. That decal is something I DO find offensive. Be it peeing on a ford, chev, dodge, whatever. Also the one with him flipping the bird. Why would someone intentionally try to offend someone they don't even know? If you don't like Ford/GM/Dodge, why not put a "I love my Ford/GM/Dodge" instead? It's just a truck for pete's sake!

Big +1 on that!

I really did not appreciate the first time I had to explain to my 3 yr old daughter why someone thought that was appropriate to publicly display. I do have to admit I am more offended by the people that think their truck should have testicles. And yes, I am the type of person that will politely ask someone to be more careful with their language if they are using profanity and their are women or children present.

lonnie,

i've seen the testicle thing hanging from the hitch on trucks.i'm 35 years old and i'm no prude, but i'm not looking foward to the awkward moment when i pull behind one of those trucks with my 10 year old daughter in the passenger seat.i don't get those things.

I never really thought about it, but if my avatar is offensive, I would be glad to change it.</span>

+1 on the "Thanks George" I really wasn't too bothered by it sincethis is not a place my kids hang-out though they do peek over my shoulder every once in a while. Everyone has a different threshold for what is "off-color". In some "circles"one thingis funny and in other "circles" it is not...Me, I run with squares so nothing is funny!

Mark- My kids have seen plumbers...

...so I am not offended by your avatar.

I did try and change it, but for some reason, I can not get my computer to cut and paste. Working on it though.
