Mouse report after a week

Happy to report no more mice caught- (last one in pic was a mommy mouse I think- got two really small ones before- found my rat zapper in cabinet above TV) all winterized and 12V ultrasonic repeller connected in tandem with trickle charger in my 20L engine compartment.
Repeller is aimed at the firewall, suspect point of entry (still looking for that hole...) and seems to be working.

I have a 2nd one of those repellers I may permanently install under the bonnet and aim the same way- tie off and attach to B+ jumper bolt, and negative to any ground nut/bolt. Maybe leave the charger there too, just secure to something that doesn't spin....

I have a trickle charger inside the coach as well, so I don't have to worry about battery drain when plugged in with my 2022 20L. As mentioned before, TMC did not provide any bi-directional charging in this rig.

They do come to see who's recently died so I am able to catch a series of them...then nothing.

They, nor the birds, will touch bread or cooked meat.

Stainless steel wool is what keeps them at bay and the owls and ravens and four leggers seem to keep them in check.

A mouse once chewed the + power line for my ultrasonic in two places and STOLE the six inches of wire between the chews.

Hard to tell- but given the fact we are rural, and neighbor's cats are lazy buggers, I would say yes that they work. The ones I use have lights as well as noise to repel them.
I am somewhat of a mouse expert after trapping 100 in an old travel trailer that the USFS stuck my crew summer of 1978...before the ultrasonics came of age.

Minty - herby scent repellant seemed to help.

We have snow already and it is icy all the way down to the ground. If it is fluffy, the voles and mice stay below the snow (subnivean) and we hardly ever see them in the winter. With it difficult to burrow through, I have seen a lot of tracks on top of the snow and there were a lot that made a beeline for my RV. Presumably just to be under cover but still, I want to keep them away as much as possible. I took one of the rodent repellant sachets from inside and the rest of what I had in the bag and tossed them under the RV. You could even smell them when you walked by. I still have vole tracks in the snow but they no longer lead under my rig! I hope I discouraged them for the winter.
There are many different brands but they all seem to be heavy on peppermint oil and have been effective for me.

I may have to try those outside- inside doesn't work as I have tried and they just play with it. Got my 3rd one yesterday- full grown adult.

I no longer use a cover as mine is under a canopy, and found that they use the cover to get on top and go thru a vent or other roof fixture.
The one thing about those is that they need to be replaced periodically as they 'air out'.

We have one of those electric mouse repellant thingies. Installed it about four years ago and it’s still working. Before buying one, we used mothballs, scented soap shavings and dryer sheets, and we’d still get nests and chewed stuff in the engine (and had to pay Mercedes a chunk of change to repair the first round of damage that the little so-and-so’s caused).

Since setting up the electric gizmo, we’ve had no new damage (we do still put in the rest of the stuff too, as it’s cheap and why take any chances?).

The mouse box we bought has a very high pitched tone that sounds an irregular rhythm and flashing lights. I can hear the tone very faintly if I’m right there and paying attention to it, but it’s not bothersome. Worth every penny.
