Move a/c temp sensor to a different location

I have a 2020 29m class A motorhome with a single Airxcel 48000 series rooftop air conditioner. I also have the Firefly Vega touch Lyra control system with a wall mounted multi-function touch screen that controls both the heating and cooling systems among other things. The living space air temperature sensor is located on the underside of the storage cabinet above the couch and is hard wired back to the G9 Firefly panel which is controlled by the touch screen. This same sensor works for the heating AND cooling systems. In my current warm winter location the wall and cabinet to which the sensor is attached receive full sun from about noon on and get very warm by 3-4pm. This makes the temperature sensor very warm all afternoon and thus calls for the ac to run continuously even though the overall ambient temperature inside the coach gets too cold. I would like to install a temperature sensor on the other side of the coach but I have searched my documentation and online and I cannot find any reference to this sensor or how to get a replacement. Before I take the next step and call Thor or Airxcel for info I would like to know if anyone here has replaced the temperature sensor or added another one in a different location. Since the original sensor is hardwired and still works I do not want to move it. It works well in this location for heat and also works well for a/c EXCEPT when the the left side of the coach is facing west. If anyone has done this or has some other solution I would appreciate any info you have.

A second option I would consider is installing an a/c only wireless thermostat/temperature sensor, if that is even possible with the Firefly system. Has anyone done that? Thanks in advance for advice and suggestions.

PS: I do not want to change the orientation of my coach, I like it where it is.

Thanks for the reply, I actually have had a 12v usb fan blowing on the sensor when needed since last year and it is a big improvement. I would consider it fixed except DW does not like it hanging over our heads and creating drafts! LOL. It is a practical solution (which I like) but not aesthetic.
