Hello everyone. We've just purchased a 2011 Zinger ZF25BH. We would like to thank everyone for their unbiased answers to questions we had while lurking through the forums the last few weeks. We take delivery next Monday and depart on our maiden voyage to Great Falls, MT on Thursday.

Welcome to the forum and the Crossroads family. Lots of good people here to answer questions as they come up.

Congratulations and welcome. It sounds like your first trip will be a fun one!
Well, as much fun as a cross-border back-to-school shopping trip can be. But, at least the beer is cheap.

We're back from our first trip and are very satisfied with our new Zinger. I tried my best to tear the roof off while pulling out of the campsite, but my spotter was on her toes and saved the day. Maybe next time I'll post a sticky on the dash to remind me that this unit is a couple of feet taller than our previous one. We haveonly a couple of minor issues with the fiver and one slightly more serious issue with a potential black tank leak, as I did get a stinky surprise when I opened the cap. We're hoping to get out a few more times before winter starts, but school and hockey both start next week so free time will be at a premium.

Glad your first trip was a good one (except for the bath which seems to be a popular pastime for others as well lately!

Congrats on the new trailer....I usually carry a pair of loppers with me so that if anything looks close I can climb on the roof and give it a quick hair cut....

Good idea. It's on my list for the next trip. However, I'd of needed a chainsaw as this was a six inch diameter stump left over from a previous trimming of the tree. I did realise that the back of the trailer would swing out as I pulled out, which is why I had my wifespottingtomake sure I didn't clip the fence that was there. I'm just glad that, unlike me, she had the brains to look up.

Fleetness of foot and a good pair of latex gloves kept me dry. The black tank valve was definitely closed all the way. My hope is that there was some residual left over from delivery to the dealership.
