Hi All! We just ordered a 2015 Cruiser CF368BH from Welcome Back RV here in Athens, Texas on 8/8/14. The dealer estimates it will be ready by mid to late October. We can't wait to get it in and take it out. We have a 7 and 4 year old so that's why we chose the bunk house. They're going to love it!

I'll post some pictures after it comes in. I'm hoping to get a status update sometime before it comes in so I can get a better idea of when it will be here.

Can't wait for it to show up!

Did your cruiser arrive? We also have been looking at that trailer, it must be a new model as there aren't many reviews.
Would love to hear your first impressions, and Pictures would be even better!

Cruiser Arrived!

Yes, the cruiser is here. I'll upload some photos of it from the day it came in. We love it! I highly recommend it. We've already taken it out for a week trip and we had no issues. We plan on taking it out for another week during the week of Thanksgiving.

Here are the pictures of the day it arrived. We've added a TV in the bunk house and one outside. We also added a satellite dish on the roof. I highly recommend this camper if you have kids! The fireplace is great. You can heat the camper on electricity without using your propane.

Great, thanks for posting all the pics- amazing
Of course I have a hundred questions, but maybe if you could just answer these for me
- What 2 things to you like best
- What could be better about the trailer?
- What is your TV and how was the towing?
- Did you add any options when you ordered? I thought I have seen a awning over the slide out.
Lucky you being able to camp during thanksgiving, up here north of the board have had our trailer winterized for a month now :-(

Answers to Questions

Please ask as many questions as you like. I love talking about RV's. :)

1. The two things I like the most are

  • The electric fireplace. It keeps me from having to use my propane as the furnace.
  • The bunkhouse. The kids absolutely love it. They have their own tv and I have an Xbox 360 in there for them.

2. Better about the trailer......I've had the brake pin pop out twice when making really hard turns. I plan on asking the RV dealer about this.

3. I'm not sure of the brand of the TV it came with in the main living area but the picture is great. I put a satellite dish on the roof and it gets HD channels. I put a Visio tv in the bunk house and another Visio tv in the storage area outside that slides out.

4. The one awning comes standard that you see in the pics. It's completely electric which is great. It also comes with LED lighting which is awesome. You can order a second awning as an option.

The options I ordered were a MAXX air fan with rain sensor in the kitchen (you can also get one in the bathroom but I just put a regular air cover over that), insulated windows, 2nd AC for bedroom, and the rear cap.

Other options you can order are 32" tv with bracket in bedroom (don't recommend this because you can do it way cheaper after market), rear hitch receiver, 2nd power owning with LED lights, slide awning package, and painted exterior (requires rear cap option).

The mandatory package already comes with a lot of standard stuff that many trailers make you get as options.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you about the towing. I have a F-250 with a 6.2 L gas engine. I was very worried about towing that much weight without a diesel. I was very impressed with the way it pulled it. The only trouble I had was once starting from a red light while at an incline. The diesel with the more torque would definitely help with that.

Thank you
When the time comes, I will have to change my TV, probably a 2500/3500 GMC diesel. May I ask what type of hitch you used, and if there are any clearance issues with the short box (assuming your truck isn't long box).

The comment about the fireplace is interesting. To me, seems like a waste of space, but sooo many people seem to love it once they have it. We do mostly dry camping, so I'm not sure how much we would use it- I'm sure it would draw a lot of power through my inverter off the batteries. Maybe a good excuse to do some KOA camping with hock up in spring/fall

It does get a little tight with sharp turns with the front of the RV getting close to the bed. My next truck will have a long bed though to help with it. It's not enough to change trucks for me right away though.

I have a short bed with a slider hitch and never have a problem, even turning 90 degrees. Not even close to cab.
