New 2016 Thor Axis 25.1

Well, we took the plunge and bought a Thor Axis 25.1 this summer and we have liked it very much. We will be driving it home to Southern California over Labor Day Weekend from our Dad's house in Michigan. It will basically be a get there from here trip. So far we haven't really had any issues. Knock on wood! Will be checking the tire pressure before we leave. When we get home I plan to take it in to get an alignment and a Saf T Plus bar installed. Anyone know of good place in SoCal to get that done?

I had my 25.1 aligned at Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems. Wingfoot Commercial Tire is a subsidiary of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

Question on converting the rear lounge to a bed. I saw a video that indicates that Thor has improved it. It looked like the cushion that is along the drivers side now raises up and moves out to form the base for the bed. On my unit this cushion folds out and down and is not used. Could you post some pictures of this?

A definite improvement the earlier models.

Did Thor eliminate the arm rest?

The only thing that needs fixing is to divide the bottom cushion along the rear wall so you end up with a rectangular bed. I had an upholsterer do that to my cushion. It makes the bedding fit better.
