Hello! Welcome and congratulations on your 36RL! We have the 38RL and are thrilled. Took delivery June 4th. We fulltime, and are just super happy. I cannot believe the collective help on this forum, never seen anything like it.

Welcome to the forum, lots of information and great people here !!!

Glamping: Glamorous Camping, i.e., in a Redwood. Welcome to the Redwood Family and forum.

Welcome to the forum, congratulations on a great choice of floorplan, as we also have the 36FL.

I wonder why they aren't showing the 36fl on the website? I went there to check out the floor plan, and they don't have it listed, only a 38fl.

The 38FL replaced the 36FL as a 2014 Mid-Year change so it looks like there are 2014 36FL models and 2014 38FL Models.

In Sept 2013, when they introduced the 38 series, they kept the 36 RL, but deleted the 36FL, which in our opinion was a huge mistake. Totally ruined the living room by deleting the excellent entertainment centre of the 36FL. Too many couches in the 38FL.

From Rob's floor plans, I also like the 36fl better.

Everybody has different opinion's of what floor plan / layout works for them.

The current layout of the 38FL is what sold us on our Redwood 5th Wheel, we like the changes and updates. :)

Not a big fan of the "Farmhouse" single bowl kitchen sink but for the most part everything else works for us.

Just to prove people have different likes/dislikes, when we looked at the 36FL with the entertainment center in nose so you had to turn 90 degrees to watch TV is the main thing we disliked, but looking at where they relocated it in the 38 my wife said she would have picked it instead of our FB. So that's why they produce different floor plans.

One of the reasons for up picking the 38FL is our Lane Theater seating unit will fit in the front cap area.

Took the recliners out at the dealer

And put in our Theater Seating unit in

Ok got to say for the record, we replaced the forward 2 recliners (they are really uncomfortable as delivered) with the door side couch and placed a desk in the door side slide. We didn't buy the 36FL floor plan because didn't like the seating layout, just not workable for us.

Also what really sold us on the 38FL plan was the higher TV entertainment center which block the view between the kitchen and FL area. Makes for 2 living areas, not one shared area. I hope they don't take that away because then I won't have a new Redwood to buy. Maybe they can just have 2 front living floor plans, one with the high entertainment center and one with a lower version.
