Welcome! This is a great place to learn about your Redwood!
40KB a new floor plan?

It is on last years brochure listed as new. Do not see it on the latest brochure. My bad. Pretty cool looking model. I have not seen one in person.

Sorry I have been working late. The 2013 40KB Limited is one of only two Limiteds built. The others was a 36RE. I will try to tell you as much as I remember about the 36RE. I found them at a dealer in north AR while looking for a 38GK red, black and tan. The limiteds were there and I had to take one of them especially due to the price and all of the options. What they told me was that they were floor models that were loaded with all the options that you could get so that the public could see what was offerd. They were twins with only a couple of things diffrent.
2013 40KB Limited Edition Redwood.
Special edition paint metal flake red, dark blue and a silver fade.
Slide awnings.
2 patio awnings.
Dish washer.
Dual sinks.
4 door fridge.
Soft touch ceiling.
4 wheel disc brakes.
HD Goodyear 110psi tires.
Granite counter tops through out.
Large storage at dinner table. And it is lager than 2014s. It has 6 doors.
Now the things that were different.
40KB
Had dark leather seating. 36RE Had white leather seating.
42ft VS 35.5ft
40KB 4 sinks, 36RE slide in slide. And that gives you two extra feet at foot of the bed to walk by.
I am a traveling worker and my wife, lab and two cats are with me so I needed the 42ft so everyone could go to there own corner if need be. The his/hers bathroom sinks are nice. But the shawer out in the middle of the bath room is a little strange. You feel like you are on display. The 36RE was just to small and didn't want to distroy that white leather with my kids. I didnt like the way I felt closed in on with the 36RE after seeing that panaramic view out of the 40KB. There are Four things that I would change if I could. First, the dinner table in not made as well as the 2014s I wish I could upgrade it. Second I would like to have that nifty storage that is over the rear hitch on the 2014s as I pull a 7x12 trailer behind me. Third, I wish I could go back to the microwave and gas oven, because this combination does not work near as good. I have tryed to post pics on the site but so far have not been able to, maybe because I am still a newbe but I will keep trying. I hope you enjoy the read.

Congratulations on your new coach and welcome to the growing Redwood family.

The 40KB was a floor plan when we bought our 36FL, but I think it was dropped at least 12 to 18 months ago.

That is stunning !! May I suggest you have your trailer painted to match the "swoop" of the black, silver and white to match that beautiful rig and truck !!
It sounds like you might have a good painter to do that from your website. Rock on !!

Ah very nice!

I think I was looking at the twin RE you discussed.

Redwood produced 2 trailer like this and they were originally going to be the prototypes for "Carriage" name. The service guys told me that they both ended up at the same dealership. Notice the end walls of the slides are painted. (my son promised to paint mine this summer). Those units are supposed to have a very special paint job on them.

The paint was a big seller for me. I am a huge car guy and that paint is car paint. I would love to paint my work trailer the same way but it wouldn't work out for my advertising.

From the looks of your website, my son and you would love to sit and talk. He had a 85 T type turbo that was cloned to look like the Grand National. He's also a pretty good painter.
