Hi Everyone,

We have a 2023 THOR Miramar 37.1ft Class A, and we’d like to replace the bathroom sink and countertop. It had a leak prior to purchasing it, and the countertop needs replacing, as well as the sink which is rusty and gross. Also would like to replace the tap.
This is for the bathroom at the back of the RV.

Any advice or suggestions on where to purchase these would be appreciated.

Pic attached for reference.
Thanks! :)

Just take measurements and hit your favorite big box store. Countertop, sink, faucets and fittings... they should have it all.

Suggest you go with solid surface (quartz, corian, granite)
Remove your faucet, sink, and top completely off cabinet
Then go to a solid surface fabricator.
Fortunately, you won’t need to purchase an entire 8’ x 8’ slab
Usually there are extra pieces available at discounted prices
They’ll cut & polish to your specs
If you bring your desired sink, they’ll cut hole (and hole for faucet)

Show us a photo of your finished remodel.

You have a coach with a relative low cargo carrying capacity (CCC) weigh and a lot of storage capacity. I would be conscious of the weight of the counter, sink and fixtures (Stay away from real rock; use thin sheet of man made (1.5 cm) and have the edges built-up to 3 cm to give you the slab look). That said, this is a chance to purchase what you want and make "yours". Since you are replacing the counter, there is no need to purchase RV fixtures which are usually different from residential fixtures. Undermount sinks will give you an easy clean up with a modern sink look, but drop in will look traditional and match you kitchen. Lowes or Home Depot can put you in touch with a kitchen/bathroom designer if you want help. I happen to have been married to on for 61 years, but she is long retired.

Our bathroom sink was like that and I hated it. Found a deeper sink used for a wetbar and cutout the top for the new sink.

The plumbing underneath that Thor did was terrible so I also redid that:

I'd use Corian and have a place fabricate to have left side and back splash. The front exposed edge can be built up to look thicker if desired. The tile backsplash you have is trouble in the making- needs periodic caulking.

Take old one to a fab shop and have them make (or change, if already corian) a new top, with new sink. Faucet maybe as well- the one you have is ok for a bath unit. (I like single hole, single control ones)

You can also get an integrated sink in a corian top, so there is no lip. No lip= easier to maintain, and no leaks at edges.

Kitchen/bath shops, Home Depot, Lowes, etc can help. I's ask for a CKD (cert. kitchen designer (like me :)- they will have a better idea and be able to show you all the options.

Weight is a concern, I'd stay away from stone products, and make sure it's installed really well- Think about being in a moving vehicle... Corian weighs a more than a built up wood unit. Marble or granite are quite heavy and can be fragile in comparison. Corian is pretty tough stuff.
Good luck!

Call any counter-top contractor.
It's just a counter replacement.
It's what they do.

The chances of you owning the required tools and specialized abilities are very very slim.
There is no need to get involved in any of the labor.

How are your stainless steel items rusty?
If they won't clean up and do need replaced(or you just want to replace them) you aren't relegated to the same size or shape or quality or even position.

Also requires 'counter-intelligence'...

SS can rust if not enough chromium and/or nickle is added to the mix...

Can also rust if harsh chemicals are used. Many grades as well- probably 304 in this application. My darkroom equipment was all 316 or better. Many acid baths later, still no rust on 316 grade.
