New flooring choices

I also love the curved wood wall, the stainless sink, the quartz countertops and the tile floor. All of those things except the carpet are no longer available.:nonono:

Totally agree on the wood wall. I was really disappointed to see it go, as it was one of the main selling items for us. However, after seeing the new blonde wood (which I don't like but was real popular at the RV show), I don't think the wood wall would have looked that good with that finish.

I do not like the new Urban Putty color that I saw at the show either.
Some folks like it, just not for us.
Of course the I do not think the FL ever had the round wall so nothing missed there.

Your dinette slide and the bedroom will still be carpet. Our unit left the factory just last month, so this is the current manufacturing configuration.

Yep.... understand that. Too bad the bedroom didn't have the full tile (vinyl) option as well. Just throw some nice looking area rugs down like we do on our hardwood floors in the house. Definitely easier to keep vinyl (& area rugs) clean ESPECIALLY when camping. It seems like I'm the only one who takes his shoes off in the 5er

AA, completely agree. To me carpet looks so much better! And, it stays looking so much better after the first time you move your slides in on those new vinyl or laminate wood floors.

I don't want to have to bring along a few replacement tiles or wood segments every time company is coming over.

I spent a pretty good chunk of change installing real hand scrapped wood floors throughout the main level of our house. It does look beautiful but......you see every speck of dust. Last week I had my grandson over and his ball went under the recliner. After finding his ball, I spent the next hour moving every piece of furniture and cleaning the floors. I didn't realize we were slobs.

Carpet sure hides dust and dirt and even though every spring I clean my carpets in the Redwood, I know there must be pounds of dirt in the fibers and padding.

Well this is like urban putty everyone has a different preference.
I prefer hard wood and area rugs. Especially in a trailer where you have the grandkids dragging in every filthy thing they can find. I am going to replace all the carpet in ours with the new wood looking vinyl. I would prefer to go with hardwood but the new lino looks real and is a lot lighter. To bad we can not order all the nice additions we like when we order these things. We get them fixed the way we want and then trade in and start over. I swore I would never do this again with a house and here I am doing it to a trailer:banghead:

My Scottish Terrier does not take his shoes off either! His kilt brings in 10 lbs of dirt everytime he comes in... we could pot a plant after a weekend away.

Have a buddy with a long hair WHITE cocker that they put booties on each time out - it's a trip to watch them get ready...

he takes the booties outside, flips up the rv stairs and the dog walks up to the edge sideways so he can put one side on and then turns for the other side !!!

BUT, he HAS left the stairs up and gotten in big trouble when his wife wanted to come out :)
