We bought a 2005 Tiffin Phaeton new 10 years ago to full-time in, but after settling into a house again, it was just too big. So we downsized to the Hurricane which is small enough to keep at the house.

We've only had it a week and about 100 miles, but it handles well on the highway, has a much tighter turning radius than the Phaeton, and basically feels as if it will suit our lifestyle today.

And annual service should be a lot cheaper than the Freighliner diesel chassis.

Happy so far!

Welcome to the forum!
We toured the Tiffin plant a couple of years ago, and were shocked by the number of big diesel pushers at the factory, waiting for repairs. They brag on their service, but that made us question Tiffin's quality control.
Happy trails!

Not so bad

Actually we were very happy with our Tiffin. Tiffin provided warranty service on various things several years out of warranty. That's where I'd go if I was going to buy another diesel coach based upon our experience with it with Phaeton.

One reason you see so many coaches at the Tiffin factory is that most owners like factory sevice better than what they get from dealer, especially when Tiffin fixes stuff free 3 or 5 years in.

I hope we like the Hurricane as well.
