Hi. The keyless entry sold by RVLock for my 2017 Thor Miramar, came with one key and the one dead bolt. My original handle on the motor home has two keys, dead bolt and dealer bolt, how important is the dealer-key bolt lock portion.

Thank you

So your Thor OEM lock had a door close latch that locked and a deadbolt that locked. They were keyed differently (for who knows what reason, my previous RVs all had them keyed the same).
Does your new RVLock have two key openings as well? That are keyed alike as well? That would explain the one key.

I think the only up side to having 2 locks is that you could flip the lever down for the non-deadbolt and close the door and it would be locked. The deadbolt would need to be key locked from outside for added security. I don't know why they would require 2 keys. I put the rv lock on ours a couple years ago now. I think the deadbolt probably gives as much security as the old unit. I would never go back.
