Hello Everyone,
My wife and I just traded our Jayci X20E for a new CR super lite ST250RB. We can not wait to take delivery in April after th snow melts. We are soooo tired of winter we will take it to Florida in late April. If any one can give us some helpful hints or advice, I would appreciate it. This is our second TT and needed to upgrade to a bed that is more accessible for my wife. Since I have trouble backing the old TT, I am considering a back up camera. Does anyone have any experience with the cameras?
Thanks everyone.

I would not rely on a camera , but would give you an idea of what is behind you , but you still need a spotter as camaras dont see tree branches.
As for the 250 r b , reverse the bathroom door first thing , that will allow access to toilet and storage with slide in ( when you are on the road).

Welcome to the forum. I installed a backup camera on the rear of my 5er. I love it. I works as a rear view mirror when I'm towing and helps me when backing.

Welcome, you will find all the answers to all your questions on here. Ask away and someone will respond. There are so many wonderful and helpful people on here. If they can't answer it for you, they'll tell you where to go to get the answers.

Travel well, travel safe,
Jim

Longhauler,
We are in St Charles, amout 40 miles west of Chicago. I would like to find out more about that central IL camp out in the fall. I can see that we will need to do a close inspection of our new TT when we take delivery next month. There seem to be a lot of issues with the roof and the slide. It is a shame that such a great looking TT has such low quality or no QC. I hope we don't regret the purchase. Never had these problems with our Jayco.

Cubfan,
Keep watch under the section, Crossroads Rallies and there's a topic called Central Illinois Fall Campout where dates, directions and other people going will be posted. Its a nice campground and I think you guys would really enjoy your time. I wish you all the best on your new camper. Just remember when reading these forums along with all other forums people are more likely to post more negative things then positive, there's a lot of people that don't have the problems that you will never hear from. The way I see it everything is going to have problems, what I believe makes a good company is the customer service you get after buying the unit, a good dealership can make a big difference in your experience. I know from my own experience Crossroads has taken good care of me and went above and beyond what they had to do, again I wish you guys all the best and hope to meet you guys this fall. This is a great forum with a lot of great folks that can just about answer any question that you may have.

Long hauler,
Thanks for the heads up on the rally. At this time, I have no idea when the navigator has us going. We are planning a trip to Maine and Gettysburg, just not sure when. Thanks for the warm and fuzzies on the brand. I know that problems are only aired, but it is great to hear that customer service is good. I think we have a good dealer, just a little far. Hope to catch up with y'all at the rally.
