New RV Owner

Hello, we just bought our Christmas present on 12/26. 2017 Thor Chateau 31W. We are excited to become ‘nomads’ for a while. Both retired. We have rented on a couple of occasions, so we understand the RV life a bit. Renting is obviously different than owning. Maintenance etc. I am handy and technical, so this helps. I have been researching WiFi and Cell booster and Satellite options. We have DirectTv. I have found some beneficial information so far on the forum.

We are NASCAR fans, and the only thing right now on the radar is in June for a race near Des Moines. I think we will start on short trips, 2-3 days starting in April at the earliest. PJ wants to explore more west, Colorado, Montana etc.
