Having just joined the forum, its time to get to work! We are downsizing from an older DP, and like the floorplans on the Hurricane and Miramar 34 series. I have seen some negative posts about craftsmanship and quality, but always take that with a grain of salt. So owners out there, how well are your coaches built? What have you had to do before leaving the lot, and along the way since. And, I could not find on the Thor website what the warranty is for these rigs. Any help?

Thanks, we are looking forward to getting on the highway again.

Fred

Although my 34E floorplan has been discontinued, my coach has been completely trouble-free, and the build quality is fantastic!!*

Ok, jokes aside, my Hurricane 34E has truly been a joy to own and use AFTER the warranty work was completed. For what I paid, (under $80k including all taxes/fees/and cost to pick it up in Florida and drive it home to California), it's been exactly what I expected.

The build quality is what it is. It's not a $200k+ DP with marble flooring and ceramic backsplashes for every sink. It's an "entry-level" motorhome constructed with wood cabinets, and vinyl flooring. It's utilitarian. Mine has been in active service virtually non-stop since January of 2014 with two teenagers and me virtually living in it fulltime. It has been used to tow a Prius with a dolly, then flat tow a Lincoln MKZ, and now a Jeep Liberty, all without trouble.

Just as BEACHER posted, my experience has been similar with my Windsport 34F. Im just weeks out of my factory warranty, but had all the warranty work done at my purchasing dealership with great satisfaction. As he said, its not a $200+ DP coach, but I must say, for under $100k, its nice and the V10 moves this coach and is quiet under normal driving conditions.

We are very happy with our purchase...

Very happy with my 2015 Hurricane 34e....some electrical inside light issues, all related to a stripped, shorted wire. Also took delivery with a bad awning......but it's been reliable and we enjoy it very much!

Thanks. I hope there are more to come. Tytlfamily, who is your warranty service center? We live in Houston and need to find someone close, preferably not CW due to prior experiences.

We bought ours at CW in New Breunfels.....so yes, used CW for warranty. My 12 month warranty just expired, but for my oil changes, SafeTPlus install, and tow package, I use a local place in San Antonio called "Texas RV Supply". Wonderful family owned bussiness[emoji590]
