Thanks for your patience while we updated the board. There are still some tweaks being made but you should be able to login and post. I'll start another thread with some basic info about how to navigate the layout and update your account if needed.

Just a note about this. Afaik no posts were actually lost. The post counter in most forums advances when you make a post and does not reverse when one is deleted. It's likely that if you posted on the old board and then either deleted the post or the post followed a spam post that was subsequently deleted your post count went up but did not go down once those posts were removed.

I suppose it's also possible that old posts were deleted (old board) by the hosting company to save band width but it's only a supposition...

Janet, I concur with Longhauler on the count and I do not recall any of my posts or topics being deleted. I know that I am missing something between 50-100. Wish I had made a note of it.

I believe the old system used points and not post (but I could be wrong). I think you could earn points for things other then post. Here is what the Web Whiz software says

New Points System - Receive Points for Posting New Topics, Replies, being Thanked for Posts, proposing a Answer

.

We'll introduce some of these features like being Thanked in the future once we have had some time to get settled.

Use the browse function and upload from your desktop or documents file. You don't need to go to photobucket.
