Wife and I started off in the 80's in tents with the kids. That lasted one weekend. Bought a popup the next weekend and had many wonderful times. Traded it in for a small 5er as we were planning a trip to Alaska. Never got the chance. Sold the 5er, but missed camping so much that we bought another popup. Took daughter, 3 grandkids everywhere. Traded that in for a hybrid and took the wife and me for a 3 week trip from Denver to NH. Had a great time except that the KOA's are either next to a major hiway, next to train tracks, airport or a combination of all the above. Didn't like the noise that came through the canvas or having to deal with moisture under the beds. Last week we traded that in for a ST26BH. Love it and will accommodate all 6 of us in comfort. Looking forward to next season. Just enjoy your time with family and spending time with nature.

Welcome aboard Rick and Bobbi!!:thumb: Congrats on the new rig!!
You have a long winter ahead of you out there in CO. to wait for the snow to melt.
Spring will come.

Welcome to the forum and to Crossroads ownership. Getting a new rv in the fall is frustrating, I did the same thing myself and had to look at it sitting in the driveway until spring came.
Any questions, please ask, this is a great place for help and info.

Welcome and congrats! Bought my 270BH last winter and had to wait months to use it as well. Also have been in a few KOA's with the same Rail Road track problem. We bring sound machines with us and plug them in. They work great except for the one tie we camped at a quad/dirt bike camp and campers were revving their engines until 1am! Enjoy your new rig!
Mike
