We just bought our first travel trailer and can't wait to use it. However when we got home and opened it up we noticed a few issues. Is this normal or did we get the Friday night build.LOL

Wishing you many happy camping memories. Hoping that your dealer can take care of the issues quickly.

You are always going to find a few things you missed on the walk thru , namely the sant-i-flush ..it is usually missed on the dealer prep .Just remember to tighten the fittings on the 90degree elbow under the bath sink before you even try it out and always use your pressure regulator so as not to put to much pressure in .
have fun ...

Did your dealer do a pdi with you before you took delivery? If not and you have issues that will require you to take it back to them, I think you should request they do a pdi at that time.

welcome and congrats on the trailer. All trailers (ant brand) will have something that needs to be fixed. The question is how bad is what needs to be fixed and will the dealer be helpful in getting it fixed correctly and quickly. If you find the dealer to be not much help then contact crossroads directly. My TT had a few small issues early on that were fixed under warranty. Knock on wood it has been good since.

Thanks everyone! This biggest issues are that the interior wall panel in the slide is separating or coming unglued along the top, the other things are smaller like the shower door does not stay closed and the counter top edging looks like its starting to become unglued as well. My neighbor bought a new puma and had the same counter top issue, so I'm not so concerned about that. It's more the wall that worries me.

A kind of PDI...LOL.. We met in the middle of nowhere and picked up the trailer. That was the half way point from us to the dealer (5 hours all together). So it was a quick switch up and on the road again. I guess I figured what could be wrong with a brand new trailer!</span>

what could be wrong with a brand new trailer ?...lol . That is what I thought as mine was delivered to my door with no formal pdi. What a mistake ..dealer promised a 110% inspection , but they didn't care after they got their money . I had to deal with someone from the company and do alot of fixes myself...Lesson learned . Hope you can fix things yourself ...sometimes that works better..
good luck

Congratulation! There are always little things here and there that need to be repaired. Over and over you will see that everyone highly suggests a thorough PDI. Having a good dealer makes all the difference in the world. I will tell you this between my dealer and Crossroads all my issues have been dealt with quickly and to my satisfaction. Hopefully you will have the same experience. Enjoy and remember with any RV we all learn to be handy men.

Good luck with new trailer.

You may learn qick about a good PDI. You likely would have been best to take the full drive and do a good look-see at dealership before taking delivery. Hopefully your issues are minor ones!

Congrats on the new trailer - happy camping. I have found issues before and after delivery. Quality control on the units is not the best.
