New Sunset Trail Reserve 33BD

Bought a new 2014 Sunset Trail Reserve 33BD back in May. The front cap is starting to fade, I took it back to the dealer and now in the waiting stage to hear back from Crossroads. I know my dealer is great because this is the third camper I have bought from them. All of the warranty work I have had done on my previous camper went without a hitch. So we are about to see what Crossroads is made of.

Good luck with your new rig. A fair amount of reports on fade on front cap have been posted. Let us know how CR responds. Hopefully your dealer is important to CR and they will show support for your problem. Best of luck.

Update: heard from the dealer today. Crossroads has approved the dealer to take my rv. To the body shop to repaint and and clear coat the front cap under warranty. I was getting a little nervous took awhile for them to approve.Edited by: Seabeecamper

Thats good news. I believe there is an additional protective clear coating available after paint and clear coat. Check with your dealer. Others with your problem should respond.
