New Thor Owner

My advice: do as much cruising as possible to detect all the problems. Somehow get the dealer to replace the Harris batteries and align the front end. This would have been the thing you made them do BEFORE you signed.. but try anyway, particular the front end, the batteries will fail just about 12 months from now. Plan on dropping it off for 2-4 weeks at a time to get stuff fixed. good luck!

I have not signed the final contract yet. I had already asked about the alignment, but will ask about the batteries as well. Thanks for the info.

Coachsoes,

I agree on getting rid of the Harris Batteries...mine only lasted 5 months, followed by much finger pointing with Harris flat out denying warranty on their batteries in a Thor product blaming the WFCO charger, with WFCO blaming Harris Batteries, Thor pointing out they do not warranty batteries and CW (dealership) saying not their problem. Bottom line: I had to pay for two new batteries after 5 months. See thread elsewhere this site for the whole story.

Check fit and trim of parts. Take drawers out and look for sawdust, screws, and such under and behind things.
