New Thor owner

Hello all. New to the forums and new to Thor. We had a Fleetwood MH the last 7 years, some of you may have seen my posts at IRV2. We are picking up our '17 Windsport 34F tomorrow.

I have been reading through the Thor forum some and noticed some complaints about QC. Oh how I hope we can get through this summer without having any major issues. Darn shame you buy a new MH and have to be concerned.

Anyway, concerning Thor QC, have they improved any the last year or two? When I do the PDI, what sort of recurring issues should I be on the lookout for?
For instance, I've read here that the toilet has an issue with a ledge catching the solids and the solids build up. Really hated reading that, that sounds like a design flaw. Thanks all for any advice!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! Some coaches have more problems than others, just make sure you do a through inspection and document everything. Also be sure to check the roof for any defects such as bad caulking or bubbles in the TPO.

There is a link to Mr. Felkers manual for Vegas, most applies to all RVs. Is worth a read ahead of PDI. We did before picking up our Vegas. We are very happy with our unit and it prepped us for 1st RV.

It has a PDI checklist and a ton of useful info. Mr. Felker should be writing user manuals, he makes everything easy to understand. Our PDI was 4 hours.
