Hi all, I just wanted to thank you all for accepting me in the group. I just bought a 2011 Thor challenger 36FD. Although I only drove it 50 miles it handled great in the back country roads. My only complaint so far is the headlights. I want to replace them with leds. I’m in the country so no street lights just long, dark, curvy roads. I’m sure I’ll have a lot of questions and am looking forward to hearing your thoughts/answers.

Hello & welcome.

If you proceed with brighter headlights, be sure to have them aimed properly. If aimed too high you'll be blinding oncoming drivers. Or maybe try having the current headlight aim checked first.

Generally, LED headlight bulbs do not work well with headlights made for incandescent or halogen bulbs like -

Yes, you’re right about the leds not working properly. It tends to leave dead/blind spots. I was looking to change the housing also. I have only been able to find hid for this year and model.
