New to rv have a 2013 36re

Just wondering I have it set up under a pole barn and leave the slides out all the time as we stay in it for weeks at a time. Do the slides need any support under them as they stay out all the time.

Should be fine. I don’t have a shed and leave mine out for months at a time. I do check periodically just to make sure there are no leaks around or under the slides. People who live in them full time leave them out all the time. I use mine for a spare bedroom when we have too much company.

Slide supports are not to be used as per manufacturer, any settling by the coach jacks will cause undo stress on the slides.
It's recommended that if jacks/slides are extended for long periods to run them through a cycle of retract/extend periodically & to wipe off & spray the exposed portion of the jacks regularly with a silicone spray.

Do you prefer silicone verses Teflon spray for slides?

The spray I've bought at Walmart is silicone with Teflon abbreviated as TPFE or something similar.

I’ve heard that there are different kinds of sprays for different applications. What do you guys use and for what purpose? Our living room / dining room slide is a bit squeely going out. Not sure what to use on it. Haven’t had a chance to read the manuals in the week we’ve had our rigs.

Been using this on the jacks, slides, door locks, anything needed lubed for 6+ years full-timing in our RW, worked great.
Used Pledge furniture polish, actually the dollar store imitation, on all of the slide seals & all the other rubber gaskets & seals throughout the RW that same 6 years as recommended by the factory technicians.
