Merry Christmas to us! We just took ownership of a Four Winds 22e and can’t wait to use it. We’ve owned 5 other MHs through the years; the last one being a 38’ Class A. It was at that point we realized the size of our RV was preventing us from camping in many of the spots we loved; Forest Service, National Park Service, boondocking on BLM lands, etc. We downsized to a truck camper, living in it for months at a time throughout the country. Last summer the thought of a few more creature comforts (ie, a bed you don’t have to climb up into) took hold and we think our new MH is the perfect compromise. Small, simple, no slides, but a comfortable bed and a dry bath. Heading to the Southwest after the holidays......yeah!

Congratulations, you're going to love it. We have a Thor 22E on the 450 chassis. We took a trip out west this past August/September, gone 5 weeks. Had a great time and could park it anywhere, absolutely zero problems with it. We downsized also for the same reasons as you, previously had a 30 foot Class A Forest River, another MH with zero problems. Have fun and be safe.

Congratulations, I’m sure you will enjoy the new found flexibility. We went from a pick-up camper to a Chateau 28F. We absolutely love it. My wife had the same issue with getting into the bed in the pu camper, as well as enjoying more creature comforts in the new camper. We wil be be spending 2 months (February and March) in Tucson again this year in our new class C. Can beat warmer weather therecompared to what goes on in Colorado at that time..:thumb:

Congratulations on your new coach and welcome to the forum!!! Hope you enjoy and have lots of FUN!!!
