I'm finally taking the time to say Hi from cold Canada.

We bought our first new trailer in the fall (second trailer ever)! Hubby and I purchased the Sunset Trail Reserve (ST25R:cool:. It's parked at the dealer for the winter but I can't wait for the snow to go away so we can test this baby out.

Feel free to pass along any tips to the new Crossroads RV owners.

I have the same unit . 1ST thing to do is turn the bath door so it open to the bath side so you can get in there with slide in . Just reverse side door frames. 2ND is get them to get you an extra drawer for the kitchen to make a 4th drawer...there is room and its easy. 3RD is make sure the front gets painted as it will fade. And most of all ,if yours still has a swinteck slide, make sure you are knowledgeable about how to over ride it to get it in when it goes out of sync . and how to re sync it. Google lippert schwintec slide and there are many videos.

Thanks for the tips! I was already thinking about how to deal with the bathroom door. Is it an easy to it yourself project?

very easy , just put left frame on right and right frame on left...don\t forget to reverse handle.

Mine is glued on and won't come off without breaking it. You can however order new frame trim. My cap is being repainted as we speak. We love ours. Be sure and check out your skylight for stress cracks.

If your plastic frames are installed like mine , they are just siliconed on first then held in place with a few screws. They pulled off easily.

Thanks everyone! Can't wait to take our new baby on it's maiden voyage - once all the snow is gone.

Maybe this will help your memory.

Actually it's from about 5 years ago. That's my old 5er sitting in the driveway.

we also have a 2013 Sunset trail reserve 25rb and just love it, great storage we take it out for two months at a time. You will love it. Welcome to the forum.

Hey Tim. How is it towing? We have a 2011 F150. This is definitely a taller RV from our last one. Length is only a bit more.

It's towing.:D I take my time. Drive defensively. Most of my trips are 1 to 4 hrs. If I were doing long trips and mountains I would want a different truck.
