Newbie to Thor motorhome

Just purchase a 2016 Thor quantum wd31.I'm looking for other owners who own one an there opinions on the class c thank you Mike

I got a Quantum rs26...

We got our rs26 back in April and love it...that is except for the mileage we get. It seems that we are getting 8 to 9 mpg (even towing my 4wd Kubota on an open trailer) which doesn't compare with the Itasca Navion Sprinter that we traded in that got 17 mpg. The Quantum has a great layout and nice finishes and doesn't get blown around as badly as our sprinter did...we love it!!!

Welcome to the forum Mike! When I had my C class I never got better than 7-8 mpg. Just enjoy and have some fun. Happy trails!

a few years ago, we had a Dutchmen Dorado B+ ..26' ...
E350 ... we were lucky to get 13mpg..
our Axis ranges between 9 & 11

The Itasca is on a Sprinter chassis--a Diesel by its very nature its going to get better mileage than the V-10. Not to mention that it is about 1/2 the "size" of the engine in the Ford chassis (Sprinter Diesel is a 3.0L Turbo 6 cylinder vs the 6.8L V-10).
Diesel vs gas, 6 cylinder vs 10 cylinder, 3.0L vs 6.8L all add up to much better mileage.
