Hello! My husband and I are going to join the world of travel trailers shortly and I am thrilled to find this site. We recently purchased a 2013 Crossroads Sunset Trail 30RE and will be bringing it home next week. I am reading all I can on this model and the troubles that have been experienced by current and former owners. What concerns me at the moment, is the roof issue. We did notice some checking out (cracking) along the front of the trailer and hubby is going to re-caulk the area. There is no sign of leaking and we'd like to keep it this way! Being as this is a used trailer, it comes with no warranty. The previous owners had the unit parked in a campground for most of the time so it has seen very few miles on the road. The trailer is in excellent condition and we are hoping to give it rave reviews once we have a chance to use it. Any suggestions from those of you who have been there, done that would be very appreciated. Is there any special type of prep we should do before we hit the road to perhaps avoid trouble in the future? Thank you.
