If anyone can help us with the lights not working on the glide out of a 2008 Sunset Trail 30’ travel trailer; the ones over dinette, couch, and wall sconce, would be greatly appreciated.
The wires under the glide out that lead to these lights were broken, but are now reattached, but still no power. Lost for ideas, have checked fuses, clean ground wire.

I Changed the title of your thread to reflect the question . As for the lights you stated you had damage and repaired it then did you check all the fuses? Also check the junction box for good connections. there should be one by the frame that the slide wires goes to.

If the lights that aren't working are LED's check to be sure that the polarity is correct when the broken wires were repaired. If they are led's replace a bulb with an incandescent if you have one and see if that lights. If it does than polarity is probably reversed. If you don't have an incandescent try a multimeter.

Check to see if 12v is at the point where the wires were repaired. That would be a starting point as to where to look.

Thank you for your suggestions. We found the problem, it was corroded wires wrapped in electrical tape up the line.
