Onan Inverter Generators

About four years ago Onan introduced their 2800i inverter generator and sometime later the 4000i was introduced. By all accounts they are much superior to the old fixed rpm, carbureted generators. The inverter generators are quieter, more efficient and do not have carburetor gum up problems.

I tried to get Thor to deliver the then available 2800i instead of the 4000 generator on my 2021 Axis that was on order and they would not.

Since then has Thor or any other MH manufacturer offered the new inverter generators and if so how have they faired.

I've seen posts regarding issues with the Flexpower inverter generator.
And a few with the 2800i, mostly about location as I recall
I haven't seen any discussion of an RV with the 4000i installed
