Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my Onan QG4000 generator on my 2017 Thor Chateau 36ft RV. It works fine most of the time, but it shuts off whenever I’m driving over a bumpy road. The strange thing is that it starts right back up instantly when I walk over and hit the wall switch—so it doesn’t seem to be overheating or struggling mechanically. It’s becoming a constant battle to keep getting up and restarting it while on the road. On a smooth road or parked, it will run all day long! Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be a loose connection or vibration issue? Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated!

Let me know if you want it to sound more technical or casual!

Call a mobile rv repair person.
Tell him/her the symptoms.

The cause is elementary but needs traced in person.
