Placed my order to retrofit lighting with LED's yesterday. bought them from: http://www.m4products.com/</span> spent just over $300.00 on 42 lights freepriorty shipping and a free led flashlight to boot( Not too bad ), still need to get the outside lights and garage bay lights ordered but waiting on warmer weather.

Amishco,
Could you please give us the part number of the lights you ordered? May help us and save time when we order.

^^please do^^ I want to change all of mine even the outside ones. It's 2013 ! They should have come with led's !

The reason I went with M4 is that these are made for RV application, I have the 38 BR there are a total of 40 recessed lights for26 of the lights, I ordered the G4 -12 50-50 in Warm White, in the office area and the small lightsunder countertops and over couch area there are 14 lights I ordered the G 4 -12 50-50 Cool White to give me more light. I talked to Steve at M4 and he suggested the brighter lights for office area and under countertops. Very easy to use their website and I ordered them at 2:00 pm yesterday and they were shipped at 3 pm yesterday.I received an email shipping confirmation. shipping was free and 10% off if you order 10 or more bulbs. also right now they have a free flashlite offer.

Did you change your outside lights also, or just the inside lights? Also, are the ones you ordered the flat lights or the round ones?

I am waiting for warmer weather to replace outside and garage lights, I'm not sure what you mean by Flat or Round lights

Wow I received my LED in the mail today, that was fast, am heading up tonight to install them after work. will let you all know how they look.

I noticed on the site that some were rounded, like a taillight bulb, and some were flat, like a silver dollar. Both were the same features, flat pug in.

I ordered the pin based led's as thats what is in our BR, they are pancake style with 12 diodes on each metal base.

Amishco, any chance you could take some pics, before/after and post'em? Would like to see the differences. Thanks.

Gary

So I took pictures not the best quality as I did them myself, wife did not make it up.I can tell a big difference much softer and more of a clean light. I am very happy with the retrofit. but... I can't post them if you would like to see send me your email addy and I will email them to you. Sorry, I tried

I ordered LED lights talked about on this forum and received them. Since putting them in I have discovered they are definitely not for us. I have 25 on the two pronged flat lights and 10 of the two pronged lights for over the center island. I am looking to sell them so if anybody desires the LED lighting, please respond and we will try to strike a deal.

We love ours, give off plenty of light and now I don't have to listen to the converter fan running all the time while the lights are on. There is a lot of difference between them, depending on who made them. I've seen some that look like a first grader assembled them and others are a real class A1 job. Don't know what you paid for yours, but to do our complete RL was a little over $400

Vaughan, nope I ordered them thrua member on the Montana Forum. He had supplied a lot of the Montana owner and they were all happy with them. Not the cheapest around, but having worked in the Electronics Industry all my life they were very well constructed. Here's his Web site: http://www.filamentfree.com/
They don't stock them, but they take orders and when they have enough they place the order with the manufacturer (it is off shore, but as I said, very good quality).
The only problem we had was with some of the replacement for the ceiling lites, as the leads on the LEDs are a little smaller and some of the lite fixture sockets are a little loose. So I had to put a little bend in the new leads to keep them tight into the fixtures (only had a couple that were a problem). There are a lot of satisfied Montana owners.
