Yeah they are probably having to follow OSHA guidelines or whatever bs organization makes you follow the "law"

Nope.....most companies have a compliance department that reviews anything that's intended for public exposure to be sure everything is correctly represented. Since the emails aren't funneled through a compliance department they can't be used for any sort of mass information.
