On a factory ordered 3901WB. Expected delivery somewhere around June. First time owner of any kind of RV. I've done a lot of research and still have a lot to go. Hello all!

Way to jump in with both feet Mudd. Redwood is a good unit and you should have many years of happy camping. Just remember the only dump questions are the one that are not asked.

Thanks Shane. Glad to be here with y'all. Sooo... my first Q. I ordered the disk brake option but I can't figure out who makes the system. Is it Carlisle? I saw a recall on their systems but that was some time ago. My local trailer guy said Dexter just bought lippert axle division. Anyone else hear that? Maybe I'll get Dexter brakes?

Bug you hit the nail on the head with jumping in deep. My tow vehicle is a 2017 Ram 3500 Longhorn DRW that I just bought two weeks ago

Welcome from CT. Congratulations on the new RW!!!!!
Lots of info here when you need it.

Steve

Congratulations. Like you, the Redwood was my first RV, GMC my first truck. Also, really the first time towing anything. Since then I have driven through Chicago, Denver Dallas during rush hours. Just go slow.

My recommendation, get an auxiliary gas tank. My biggest problems came from running low on fuel and trying to find fuel where I shouldn't.

Congratulations on your new Redwood, hope the delivery goes smooth and problem free.

There are many of us who started with a Redwood. Welcome to the group and the journey ! Never hesitate to ask anything. 99% of the time you will get well thought out and accurate answers. The othe percent, well, we just laugh and chuckle about that.

And if you can, try and make the Rally. You will learn more in a week than you ever thought possible.

Boise, or a little more precise, Eagle Idaho. This last winter converted me to a snowbird.

I believe the brakes will be Dexter

Hmmmm... The dealer tells me that I'm getting a 2018 model, even though it's being manufactured in the next few months. In my mind it's really a 17 but I can brag about getting an 18. Woo hoo!

Steve - you ?, the man with the lawn chair no beer ? 1% ? No way. I am forever in awe of the things that you come up with and can't wait to see you both again at the Rally. If memory serves I owe you at least 2 beers ......
